Alliance Services Program Update

Budd Park is one of the many beautiful natural spaces HCA is highlighting in April. When you give to Heartland Conservation Alliance, you join thousands of others who want to protect and restore our natural heritage. Your donation directly benefits Kansas City communities and future generations. Photo by Magali Rojas.

On Friday, April 1 HCA launched our spring fundraiser “30 Parks in 30 Days.” Every day in April we are visiting a park, green space, trail, or another place we love outdoors to celebrate the hard work that goes into keeping them beautiful. Throughout the month, we are asking you to donate to help support our programs that increase environmental education and access to the outdoors.

Your donation will directly impact:

  • Establishing the Heartland Overlook Preserve

  • The Nature Action Crew

  • The Blue River Report Card

  • Outdoor Education Events

  • The Renew the Blue Campaign

So far HCA has visited Jerry Smith Prairie, Westwood Park, Thompson Park in Overland Park, the Santa Fe National Historic Trail, and Cleveland Lake Trails. Visit our social media pages to check out information about these beautiful locations, share your own adventures, and donate to help support environmental education and outdoor access in Kansas City.

The next Partnership Work Group is 5/10/22, 6:00 - 7:30p.m. If you're interested in joining the Work Group, contact Kristina Williams at kristina@heartlandconservationalliance.org.
