What does the Blue River mean to me?
The Blue River represents a huge resilient everchanging green space that meanders through our home, KC.
When you are hiking or paddling the Blue you have the sensation that you are far away from any large city.
I am inspired to save the Blue so that future generations are able to experience and connect to a slice of heaven outdoors while in the big city.
I discovered the Blue River many years ago through Project Blue River Rescue. By getting involved with the litter cleanups it convinced me to do more to help preserve the Blue.
