Education & Outreach Program Update

On Saturday, November 12, 10:00am - Noon, join HCA's Education & Outreach Work Group to discuss ways of increasing environmental and conservation education to all age groups, both in the classroom and in the field. Conservation and environmental educators will build professional communities with classroom teachers looking to increase engagement practices for their students. Discussions will focus on localized phenomena, practical and long-term climate change solutions, and conservation resources and practices.


This event is FREE and open to all educators of any grade, including classroom teachers grades K-12 and continuing education, as well as, in-the-field educators.

The event will take place at the Anita B. Gorman Discovery Center, 4750 Troost Avenue, KCMO, 64110
