Conservation Land Stewardship Intern

Join Heartland Conservation Alliance this Fall 2026 to gain hands-on experience restoring and managing urban greenspaces in the Blue River watershed. Interns assist with invasive species removal, trail maintenance, timber stand improvement, ecological monitoring, and volunteer coordination, while learning practical land stewardship and conservation skills. This seasonal internship offers mentorship, professional development, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on Kansas City’s natural spaces. A small stipend may be available.
